Scripture and Prayer on Monday, August 9, 2021

Pastor David reads Mark 9:42-50 and offers a prayer from the Book of Common Prayer:

O Lord, who has taught us that all our doings without charity (love) are worth nothing: Send your Holy Ghost and pour into our hearts that most excellent gift of charity, the very bond of peace and of all virtues, without which whoever lives is counted dead before you. Grant this for your only Son Jesus Christ’s sake. Amen.
