Scripture and Prayer on Wednesday, July 28, 2021

Pastor David reads Mark 6:47-56 and offers a prayer from Lancelot Andrewes:

Glory be to you, O Lord,
for that you did create not only the visible light,
but the light invisible,
that which may be known of God, the law written in the heart;
give us a mind to perceive this light in
the oracles of prophets,
the melody of psalms,
the prudence of proverbs,
the experience of histories,
and the life and love of our Lord Jesus Christ,
for his sake.
