Pastor David reads 2 Corinthians 1:1-11 and offers a prayer from Thomas Wilson:

We adore your goodness, Lord God, in making your will known to us in your holy Word. May this your Word be the rule of our will, of our desires, of our lives and actions. May we always sacrifice our will to yours, be pleased with all your choice for ourselves and others, and adore your providence in the government of the world.
